Owen,
Yes this is me...
I studied West Virginia for a bit, there is this big burial mound or something, i would look up more but, In New York there is a island called long island, the most popular city is NY city, and the capital is Albany, and upstate NY is the Adarondacks mountains and there are many lakes here, called the finger lakes. Hope that helps!
Hey, Owen!
I'd love to help you on your silly little English assignment!
I live in Michigan, the capitol of Michigan is Lansing. In Michigan, people like to play computer, ski, sled, swim, bike, run, eat, sleep, watch footbal (the american football), and eat, and sleep. Americans are lazy. (don't say that in your report)
Us Michiganians like to listen to Pop and Rock music. Right now, artists like Katy Perry, Rhianna, and other crap are popular. Us Americans eat anything that is good, but I'm a vegetarian, so that limits some things.
Lots of people like sports. Football and Baseball are very popular. American children like snow!!!!!
Good luck with your silly little English assignment!
Oh, and we use dollars, unlike your dumb pounds or whatever! xD
The dollar sign is on every American keyboard if you press SHIFT and 4.
This is the dollar sign: $
Thought I'd put in my two cents, because Wyatt I think forgot to list facts and just put said what he likes to do (which I think is what he always does) :P.
Michigan is the home of 3 of the largest care manufacturers (Ford, Chrysler, and General Motors). The Whirlpool Corporation (they make washing machines, fridges, and other appliances) has their world head quarters in Benton Harbor, MI. But by far the most interesting fact about Michigan is that we're the ONLY state to have two separate peninsulas. They're separated by Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, and the Mackinac Bridge spans more than 5 miles to connect both the upper and lower peninsulas together.
Hope that's enough facts for you :)
Ok! Here are just a few important places and things in a few states:
New York: The Statue of Liberty
Pennsylvania: The Liberty Bell
Arizona: The Grand Canyon
California: The Golden Gate Bridge, the Redwood trees
I hope this helps!

Our first war was the Revolutionary war, where we declared independince! We also had the war of 1812, and a Civil war. I don't no many others but watever! ;p hope this helps!
