Welcome to Hippo Adventure! Allow me to explain. My name is Wyatt. I created Hippapalooza a few years ago. Something cool about Hippapalooza is that it doesn't use Flash or Java to make it more interesting. Hippapalooza is based around Blogger, and only HTML is used to spice it up. So, as a cool idea, I decided to make a game, an adventure game, totally out of HTML. Please enjoy.

Hey all!

Well I was on Yahoo! today checking my email, and on the "Trending Now" section something caught my attention. The keyword was "Rare Pink Hippo"... Naturally I checked it out. You can see the pictures below.

Here's the info. British photographers, Matt and Will Burrard-Lucas were trying to capture pictures of the wildebeest migration but instead found this pink hippo!!! It was a baby hippo for sure because it stayed close to its mother. Most hippos are dark brown, so this is a shock!

Okay, so last summer I put out fliers for my pet-sitting service, and now, almost a year later, I have a cat-sitting job. It just ended a couple days ago, but I wanted to show you this picture of one of the cats named Lilly. Isn't she adorable? Haha, she wanted food :)

Everything on Hippapalooza was a little scattered around, I realized last night. So I wanted to make everything easier to get to. For now, the blog will be on the main page, and I will be updating it more often. I'm not sure about Keegan though.

Also, if you are having trouble with the HTML5 demo, you will need to download Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. (I have Chrome, and I love it)

Hello! I just wanted to tell everyone that I am working on the new MacHippapalooza! It's a Hippapalooza that is nearly identical to the original with a few minor changes. First of all, the Mac version has a much smaller screen size to fit the mac's screen size without a lot of scolling and rearranging. Second, the pictures, downloads, and videos are going to be in mac files so that Mac users can acess them easier. I hope this helps you mac users!

Hey, Everyone

Sorry that I haven't updated Hippapalooza in a long time! But heres some good news, I'm going to make some changes to it. I'm starting a whole list of things I need to do at home, and you guys won't believe the changes! Unfortunately, tomorrow I'm going to close Hippapalooza for maintence. I shouldn't really have anyone on when I'm editing it. So Hippapalooza will be down from NOVEMBER 7 - NOVEMBER 9 unless i get done sooner!

Underwater Party RE-Scheduled

Sorry everyone!

I went on vacation for a couple of days and I wasn't around to work on the Underwater Party, so it's being scheduled to September 4-7.
This time it's because of my birtday! My b-day is on September 6th. (The best day ever). Hehe. Anyway, here is a video from our vacation. It's part one in a series called "Embarassing Wyatt". This time it was me in the car and Joey filming me. You gotta watch it before I give away what happens.

LIKE, REALLY soon!

You like TV, right? And you like Hippapalooza? Well, then you'll love HippaTV! Here's some info about what it is.

I take the absolute BEST YouTube shows, and download them off the internet. Then, what happens to those videos is this: They go on a filmstrip, where they are just played constantly, with NO COMMERCIALS! Okay, well ALMOST no commercials. There will be short 15 second commercials for Hippapalooza and other various things on it. Each show will be about 2 to 5 minutes, and will be entertaining. All of them are rated TV-Y, TV-Y7, or TV-PG, so there's no problem.

The shows so far are The Potter Puppet Pals and Fred, but more will come later. I will let you know when HippaTV is up and running! See you all later!

Yo, yo, yo! How's it going, internet world? Okay, guess what? Today, I'm going to do a post about something random that happened to me! (or not happened to me...) ((that's the challenging part, you have to find out if it's random fake stuff, or random true stuff))

Okay, here's my story...

Fake or True?

One day, (I think it was in March) I was taking a walk with my dog, Natasha, around the neighborhood. After walking for about 15 minutes, I saw this weird grey-haired guy sitting on the side of the road near a woods. He was thin, and he wore a brown, tattered jacket. When I walked by him, he said,

"Hello, son. How are you today?" That was kind of odd, but I just answered him saying,

"Fine, thanks," and I started to walk away... BUT, HE SAID...

"Can you get me some crackers?" I looked at him, and then I just walked away, but guess what? He started to chase me! He said, "GIVE ME SOME CRACKERS!", and I think his mouth was foaming a little bit. I started running harder, but I tripped over an ear of corn.

The next thing I knew, the hobo was right behind me, and he smelled like.... like... like a sack of rotting garbage. It looked like he wanted to hurt me, so I gave him some dog biscuts that I had in my pocket for Natasha. Then, he proceded to EAT the dog biscuts WITH HIS MOUTH OPEN, SPILLING CRUMBS ALL OVER ME!

The End.

Well, anyway, if you don't know who Matt Giraud is, then you should go see a doctor! Because... he's a totally awesome American Idol contestant! He got voted off in the top 5, though... :(

Happy Friday, everyone!

Hey, just so you know, if anyone has a birthday coming up, tell us, and we'll celebrate it here on Hippapalooza. I love arranging parties! And contest! Contests especially! xD

So, some of you may know that Wednesday was EARTH DAY! Earth day is a day when you go green and turn off the lights and respect Earth, right? Well, Hippapalooza is going to celebrate Earth day, too! Anyone who turns off their lights for 1 hour this weekend (no, sleeping doesn't count) gets the Green Hippo Award! Which is basically a widget to place on your website, MySpace, Facebook, desktop, ect. It's a cool trophy/certificate for being green! Here is some news for the week.

Okay, as we all know, the 12th was EASTER! I hope you all had an awesometifical day on Easter! I sure did! I loooooove chocolate bunnies.... ^.^

Embarassing Moments

Hey, Hippapaloozaians!

I wanted to tell you guys about some embarassing moments that my family and I have had...

1. My mom was calling someone, and while she was waiting for them to pick up, she decided to sing along to some song. So, she was like, "I love yo- oh, sorry, this is Terri Counterman."

2. I was walking to get the phone, and I tripped over my mom's crutches (from like 4 years ago when she had foot surgery). That won't seem so bad, until I tell you that I tripped over them AGAIN on the way back to the table... xP That's so dumb of me! Haha!

3. My dad and I were playing Yahtzee, and Natasha just lays down right in the middle of the game and messes us up... that's not so embarassing, but it's funny.

Okay, before I go, I want to say...

We Know Jackson (the sweet awesome band) has their new album coming out on APRIL 13TH. MARK YOUR CALANDERS! Yeah! It'll be available at stores, concerts, and iTunes, and stuff. Doesn't that ROCK! Okay, now here's a story from our buddy, Keegan. (It won some award from some book company or whatever)

Sleeping in Mrs. Fender's Class- By Keegan (the lame one, lol)

Mrs. fender is nice , but can get BORING!! Like in ou energy unit it was always "neuclear this and neuclear that". Guess what else! I had to STUDY it for the test the next day!! I fell asleep, so I read the book all night until 11:00 pm. When I walked in the class, guess what she said? I quote, "Sorry class I moved the test to next week", need I say more? I was furious. So mad I got sent to the SRC that day.

Today, I, Wyatt, am starting the 1st Annual Online Game Awards 2009! This year's theme... Candystand! Okay, so, what is this all about? Well, I'll tell you! I have picked 5 of the BEST games from Candystand. Now it's your turn. Every week, one game will be voted off, much like American Idol, if you watch it. Here are the Top 5...
Number 1, Electric Box! Oh, yes, this one is really good! It's a game that actually makes you think, imagine that! You have to use various machines to get electricity from one place to another. I can't get the last level... :( Good luck to you, though! Numero Dos, Fire and Ice! My personal favorite! You play as either Fire or Ice, and you go through levels trying not to get defeated by random enemies. It starts pretty easy, but gets harder as you go along.Yay, yay, everyone's favorite, Fancy Pants Adventure World 2! In this game, you play as Fancy Pants Man, and risk your life for an ice cream cone. You can unlock different pants colors, fight spiders, and defeat an evil rabbit. Sounds cool, right?I'll bet none of you have heard of this one, Off Balance. In this game, you guide a little white puff thing to every red dot. But! If you hit the side, you have to start the level over. Another game that makes you think... Hmmm...Ah, last but not least! Headcase! Its a really wacky game, but it's fun! You play as a guy with a large head, and you guide yourself around levels. Try to watch out for the enemies, though, you know, the usual giant, happy, blue blocks, guys who shoot electricity, you know.

Hey! Sorry, Owen, but I wanted to say Happy Patty's Day, too! So, world... HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY! Okay, back to Owen's post (PS: I shortened the picture so that the posts wouldn't go to far... If you can't see the picture, click on it! Please don't change it back, Owen!)

It's St Patrick's Day!! And to celebrate the greenest day of the year i'm havinbg a contest called 'What's that green?' I'll have 10 green items and you will have to guess what they are! Some are easy and some are hard! Some are things that you see every day, some you see only today and some you could see at any random time! So here are the pics:Number 1 is challenging for some and number 2 could you specify what type it is. If you don't know what that means just forget it.

Number 3 pretty easy and number 4 should be easy but maybe not.

Hey guys, I haven't posted in quite a while. But I am now. I didn't post about it, but some one hacked my blog... twice. Ya, so I decided to quit. But my friend Jenny got so upset. Then I couldn't stand not being able to post cheats. So I made anew account with an IMPOSSIBLE pass! :D So I am back to cheats! In Explore class, we were talking about the food pyramid, and I started wondering if I could name every type of fruit! So, I'll try, I doubt I'll do it, though. I'll probably miss something easy like orange or pear. :P

Apple, banana, pear, orange (hey, I remembered!), peach, kiwi, pineapple, tomato, avacado, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, mango, guava, açaí, grape, watermelon, cantalope, grapefruit, lemon, lime, cherry, pomagranite, apricot, plum, blackberry, eggplant, coconut, dragonfruit, olive, tangerine, tangelo, papaya, date.

Super 70s Party... MAYBE

Hey, yo, ya, konichi wa!

Wyatt here! Hey, you all remember the 80's party we had last year? That rocked, so, I'm thinking of having a Super 70s Party! Here's where the maybe comes in. I don't wanna have a party when there's only like 2 viewers, sooooo, I'll make the party a time when there is a lot of people at Hippapalooza. If you can attend, I would LOVE it if you would post a comment, and if you wish, you can invite other people to come!
I'm thinking maybe Friday the 13th... Ah! Bad luck! You know, we had a Friday the 13th in February, too. Its because February had 28 days, which is divisable by 7. (28/7=4) Well, if you can't make it on the 13th, don't panic, the party will go through the whole weekend! ENJOY!

Saucy Cat

You're probably thinking, "What the hippo is a Saucy Cat?" Well, I'll tell you an answer. Saucy Cat all started one day a McDonalds. My uncle Rick, brother Joey, and I were haveing fries, and Joey got a Happy Meal. His toy was this stupid looking cat thing (picture coming soon). So, we dipped it in sauce, crushed a chicken nugget on it, then threw it away. It was so much fun to torture it that we bought another one and took it home. Then Saucy Cat was born. Here is a list of things that we did to Saucy Cat.

Ran him over with a truck
Washed him
Painted him
Had him get bit by a snake in Kentucky
Ran him over with a lawnmower
Set him in the road where he was hit by a van
Dropped him off the balcony at my house
Stepped on him
Put him up in a tree for 3 months.

And we still have him today! So, I hope you enjoyed hearing about Saucy Cat!

Oh my hippo! I was on Gmail, and I saw an Ad (oh, how I hate ads!) that said, and I quote, "Tired of Club Penguin? Try Sifaka World, more than just penguins!" Grrr. So, I went to the Sifaka World website, and I got an account... I'm not going to tell you which one I think is better. I'll let you decide. Get a Club Penguin and Sifaka World account (or just search them on YouTube) and vote for the BESTESTEST one!

Okay so, now ur all like 'What you were gone? really? Coming to think of it i did notice something bugging me had gone, wait now it's back!' LOL! I hope none of you do think like that, *stares with gang of savage foreign kids* Yes Wyatt, that's right hold that piano tight...

Anyway I was here because My dad and now Step Mum were on a honey moon! (holiday after they get married) And My mum now has internet but i'm not allowed to use it and at my grandmas i managed one comment but after that i quit cos her pc is sooo slow. Anyway I'm gonna go now cya later!
